Tielke's guitars are decorated with the richest ornamentation found on all of Tielke's instruments (perhaps with the exception the viola da gamba in the Bavarian National Museum Munich). Look at the publisher's announcement to get an idea Tielke's sense of lavishness.

There are twentyseven guitars dating between 1672 and 1704. Details of their construction are revealed by means of coloured three-dimensional views of computer tomographs.
